Helical Blue is a Company based in rural Northumberland, UK. We focus on a range of services based around audio recording and production. Our services can be bespoke to your needs and our collaborative approach, means we will always aim to understand your brief and bring creative and practical ideas to ensure an innovative and successful outcome to your project.

We specialise in location sound recording which could be anything from recording a small music ensemble or choir, voice-over for podcast and training videos, conferences or outdoor soundscapes and wildlife recording. Additionally we can provide original music composition and production for audio only projects or synchronisation with visual media.

We have a unique set of skills and experience which has meant we have diversified at times to produce training videos with voiceover and animation for several large companies, often using our experience of many years previously working in scientific and health and safety professions. This work has been carried out through our established consultancy services Helical Blue Consulting.
